PICS! It arrived - one small issue
This thing is loud, and sounds very mellow already. I'm looking forward to the sound changing slightly in the next few weeks as the soundboard opens up.
It has a high-gloss finish, even on the solid spruce soundboard, which I am not completely happy with, but I'm sure it will grow on me. Flawless finish, although there is some red polishing compound in the endgrain in the soundholes. Here are some pics:
The one small issue is that the pickup was rattling around inside the instrument. That's not good. There is no damage, the adhesive pad has come off, that's all. It's no reason to kick up a stink -- I'll probably take the opportunity to put in a piezo pickup a little later in the year.
All in all, I'm very happy.
