Hi
I promise you - you won't be dissapointed. check this out.

Wow, what stunning playing!

Martin pays with The Hula Bluebirds
http://www.hulabluebirds.co.uk/
an excellent 30's/40's style Hawaiian band in the UK.
What I think is more siginificant is that Martin isn't the ukulele player in the band, but normally plays steel guitar (he is also a very accomplished jazz guitarist).

His playing is so effortless, and the choice of songs are amazing, I loved The Sleepy Lagoon, I guess you guys in the states are not too familure with Desert Island Discs BBC Radio program, but I'm sure many Brits of a certain age have some fond memorys of it.

if you want to know a little more about Martin Wheatley - take a look here:

He often performs at The Lincoln Lounge, near Kings Cross, in London (England), at Tricity Vogue's cabaret.

Apart from being extremely talented at a gazillion stringed instruments, he is a very nice person.

Just came across these videos again, and I would like to reiterate how awesome this guy is. Check 'em out! :)

This was some seriously amazing ukulele playing!
As an aside, Jethro Tull did a little bit of "Dambusters' March" on their '78 live LP "Bursting Out". A bit different arrangement, though, lol.
