New strings!!

I just purchased a Kala Brand Tenor Ukulele with Electric Pickup and I'm very very happy with it. I just would like to get new strings because I want the Low G on my uke. So I looked up Aquilas and they have tenor strings with low g and says 1 Wound String. And then theres another one that says tenor uke with low g but doesnt say wound string. What does it mean when it says wound string. Any help would be great. Thank!!

A wound string means the core material (nylon or whatever) is wrapped by another type of material (silver, bronze, etc). Most of the members here prefer an unwound low G and I think Worth and Fremont makes them and can be purchased separately. Check with MGM.
