I'm restoring this old 1930s Maxitone Banjo Uke and I've hit a snag. I planned to just buy some new friction tuners and call it good, but upon a little research, I learned the new tuners won't fit the vintage holes. I'm reluctant, at this point, to try my hand at drilling new holes and recesses in this 80-year-old wood with my inexperienced hands and abject lack of the tools to do so, so I thought I'd try to find some vintage pegs. It came with three of its original pegs and one geared tuner (along with its screw-hole, ugh). Here's a picture of the three I have. I figured you lot of compulsive ukulele collectors would surely have one or two of these odd things laying around you might like to sell to a good home. Anyone?
