Hey everyone this is my first post on here so forgive me if I post this wrong. I have been playing Uke for little under a year now doing mostly main stream songs but I've always wanted to learn some bluegrass/folk stuff and techniques. I recently got myself a sweet banjulele and I am just having a difficult time playing this genre of music and having it sound good. I was wondering if anyone on here has some tips/tricks/techniques I can practice as well as a few songs I can learn to help me along. Thanks in advance for all your help!

Ken Middleton is the man when it comes to bluegrass ukulele. Do a search for some of his tabs.

another decent technique, although commonly looked over for ukulele, is carter scratching. it's basically flat picking on a guitar without using a pick. it's what i use for any folk songs i play (woody guthrie, johnny cash, bob dylan, etc.)
