I have a fascination with all tiny ukes, and today i was at the cigar store in my town. I noticed that had some very small cigar boxes, and i immediately thought tiny uke... Has anyone ever built a cigar box uke outta something in the 4x4 or 5x5 range...i can only imagine it would sound pretty dead, but would be fun...thoughts?

So far I'm seeing 11 to 11 15/16ths scale for the sopranino.

I have a 5x7 Joya de Nicaragua box just waitingfor my skill to advance enough. At such a time I plan to try to make it into a nino.

We just built a matchbox uke. 4x6...cm (that would be 1.6 x 2.4 in). Very cute, and very treble (tuning is an octave and a fifth above standard C ukulele tuning, two octaves above guitar).

The kitchen drawers are still off limits, but the oak desk parts in the front room, let's say I have plans for some of that.
