Has anyone come across one of these?

It seems like a fun design at a good price for a knock around instrument.

Any experiences?

We had them on display at NAMM. The subtle colours are very nice indeed. They play like a regular SK-10 and sound great.

I saw these at NAMM too. They looked really nice. I would say the photos on their website are pretty accurate. The ones they had on display had geared tuners, which I was very happy to see. I recently had Ohana fix a uke under warranty, and while they were repairing a popped bridge, had them change my friction tuners for geared tuners. It really worked out great. It is hard to hear anything on the exhibit floor there, so I can't really say I heard any instrument well enough to judge it at the show. Great customer service, by the way, and really nice people.

Anybody have a source in the US that sets these up properly?

I just ordered one from Uke Republic so he might have more.

Nice ukes! They sound nice and play well. Great for runaround!! And for sheer OOH factor, try the SG-50WG with a willow/cedar wood combination. Sweet!
