So, I was asking myself "Who?...and what makes him good enough to have a signature model?" Then, I went to youtube to look him up. WOW!!, What a player!!! His strumming techniques are mindblowing. No wonder he requires high action. Thanks for exposing me to such a fine player that I've never heard of. Of course the uke is excellent as usual, too!

Go to his site, get his DVD. - Although Roy Smeck had some chops this combination playing is very British, very Steven. There is another guy called Peter Moss, British, who is also a monster 'combination stroke' strumer.
 
Steven Sproat played at one of the New York Uke Festivals. A lot of the people present didn't know who he was - but they sure did afterwards!

Peter Moss is a prodigious uke player, too.
