My band teacher gave this to me today, randomly. It is quite cute, I think, but it is really out of tune and it sounds kind of terrible. It is 6 inches wide at the body, and 17 inches long. I just thought it was cute and curious and I thought people on the ukulele board might want to see it for funsies. :)

Interesting! Put some new strings on & see if that helps! ;)

Oh, and welcome to UU!

I have one of them made in the PI coconut shell instruments. I refuse to call it a 'ukulele because mine sounds so totally crappy even after I changed the strings and lowered the sky high bridge to lower action height. The frets are so haphazardly placed the intonation on mine is impossible to correct, unplayable except maybe "Elephant Town". Good news is I'm only out $4.99. I'm afraid to give it to a kid because it may scare him away from the 'ukulele forever. I have it on a high shelf now for decoration. May use it to fuel my next backyard bonfire.

wall decoration only, look at the fret spacing, it will never sound anything but awful.

I just have it sitting in my room as decoration. :)
