Fret width Question

So my KA-T has a nut width of 35mm. I kinda like thatwidth - it feels comfy for me and I think I'll always be mostly a strummer rather than a classical style picker.

I am thinking about buying a concert and notice that most seem to have a wider neck width. Am I right about this? What issues does this raise, do you think - if any?

It depends on the ukulele (and the maker). I've noticed that Kalas and Lanikais have narrow necks (too narrow for my liking).

I am by NO means an expert on this kind of subject, but logic tells me its alot down to personal preference? Having a wider/narrower neck will make some chords easier/harder to fret depending what you are used to and maybe depending on the length of your fingers
Might be worth going into some music shops and having a go on a few?

Thanks team. Yes - I mess around at music shops. Prob here is that we have a very limited selection.
Like most things it seems to be personal preference - was just checking if concerts tended to have a wider neck for some reason.
