Just down the block from my old office in Troy, NY was a wonderful guitar shop called Cathedral Music. I had some free time today so I stopped in for a visit and the owner asked me if the Uke bug had bit me yet. I said yes, and he pointed out a really nifty old Harmony "Johnny Marvin Professional Ukulele". Check http://cathedralmusic.com/17501.html and scroll down.
The thing plays perfectly and is very cool indeed. More than I'd pay for a uke right now, but someone here might like it. I have no commercial interest yadda, yadda.

Airplane bridge AND Mother of Toilet Seat face plate on the headstock. Score!

Paul, are you following me around, or am I following you?

First there's the Chiff & Fipple...
Then you're on the RC heli forums... (which I've put on hold for a while)
And now you're here? ;)

I suspected it though, since seeing a couple of uke references in your posts on the C&F.

I've picked the uke back up after probably a six-month hiatus.

That's a pretty sweet-looking uke, but a bit odd with the koa body and mother-of-whatever headstock.

Hey, you know a thing or two about woodworking. When are you going to start making ukes? :D
