We had an African pygmy hedgehog as a pet for a few years. She was a sweet little thing. Photos here.
Though I must tell you, that when she evacuated, the last thing that we would have thought to do would be write a song about it <s>
That said, a Europen hedgehog out in the fresh air, likely doesn't present the same pungent aroma memories.
