Music Software

Does anyone know of some decent (hopefully freeware) software that will put a score on a page and allow you to insert notes? The simpler the better. I'm facilitating a uke group at a local senior center and some folks would really like to see notes as well as chords. Kiwi has some nice freeware that allows you to type in words and chords and to add images of the chords on the side of the page. That's what I'm using now. But notes would be helpful

You can use TuxGuitar. It is on Linuix and Windows. i believe there is a thread on it somewhere. Try searching!

They're not free, but I believe that both Finale and Sibelius have stripped-down, entry-level versions of their software. Might be worth checking out.

I use powertab editor. Works great for me, and its free!
