Hi all,
I know this is a ukulele forum, but I am hoping someone out there can help me with a small problem that has stalled me out on my Martin 000 guitar kit.
The dovetail joint is undersized on purpose so that the neck piece can be sanded into a perfect fit. Here's the problem, Martin folks say to cut a sanding block at 10 degrees, which is the bevel of the neck piece. Do you have any recommendations on now you would make a precise cut at any degree, let alone 10. They say not to bother with a miter box which I have, and I do think it needs to be pretty darned exact to make the neck fit right and be straight and level.
Any help is much appreciated.
