F-style ukulele ?

hey all i've been thinking more and more about luithering and different styles of ukuleles and just the nature of the beast,
i suppose. i came to wonder if there was ever a production/custom f style ukulele?


for those that dont catch my flow im talking about this style of instrument (common on mando-style instruments)

You should check out my thread on building an arch top ukulele in the luthier's lounge section of this forum. My background is making mandolins, but I have recently completed several arch top ukes and they have turned out well.
