Okay, not exactly the typical video for around here, but I'm too timid (and too lousy a player) to record a video of my playing...
I'm in the History PhD program at George Mason University-- and part of what makes our program unique is that you can specialize in digital history. I work on creating history on the internet and the history of the internet, among other things. Anyway, I'm taking a "Digital Storytelling" class, and I'm trying my hardest to link all my projects to the ukulele.
To that end, when we were asked to create a video using the web-editing service Vimeo (cool and worth playing around with, if you haven't...), I decided to do a little, two-minute tribute/introduction to one of my absolute favorite players, Cliff Edwards, aka "Ukulele Ike."
I'm sure some of you are familiar and this'll be nothing new, but just felt like sharing...
