I've been thinking about turning my Ibanez in an Electric/Acoustic,and I found this online:http://www.virtualvillage.com/ukulele-preamp-pm-200-009000-199.html?utm_source=googlebase&utm_medium=shcomp.......Can't seem to find any reviews???
Anyone heard,or had any experience with this product???

I've never heard of it.

Keep in mind, you get what you pay for and for 17 bucks you aren't going to get much.

It looks like it will "work" if set up, but don't expect it to be good.
I once set up a Mahalo $30 pickup on a uke. It 'worked', but not nearly as well as my ukes with Shadow pickups.

If you set it up and aren't happy with the result, you may have actually wasted more money than saved. Plus, your uke won't be the same again, with those holes and bar under the saddle.

Well, one thing is for sure,it's not an "Active Pickup";So,I'm not sure why they're calling it a preamp?(NO battery, like other "preamps".)............Hopefully,someone that has used it might see this and reply with good or bad personal reviews;I certainly don't want to be a "Guinea Pig" with my Uke!(maybe get a $19.95 First Act Uke,and drill away!LMAO)

I think the Ovation soprano acoustic-electric ukes have a "pre-amp" (volume and tone control) without being active.
