View Full Version : Why is there a Uke in the Intro to Les Paul&Mary Ford show?

I've been watching Les Paul videos on Youtube (whilst waiting for my Les Paul uke), and noticed that at the start of these videos:

The picture is a Ukulele with 4 strings.

Curious as why they chose the uke for a show featuring guitars.
Were ukes a craze back in that time?

Aaah. YouTube can sometimes be a rabbit hole down which I dissappear, but nothing makes that happen for me more than looking at a Les Paul clip.
