Yaaaaaaaay! My ukelele is finished! My boyfriend picked it up today and he says it sounds really nice and that it looks amazing! I'll be getting it on Monday (My Birthday), can't wait!
Maybe this wasn't worth creating a whole new thread, but I'm sooo excited I couldn't help myself!

I promise I'll be posting pics to make up for this silly thread!

I got it!!!!
Here are the pics:

very elegant looking. like the way a uke should look haha. very nice. can we get a video?

I too love the classy look of it. It reminds me of my Style 0 Martin. Very plain and elegant. It's all about the sound :D

Enjoy!!

Thanks everybody! I'm sooo happy!
You can get a video and you WILL... as soon as I learn how to play haha.
In case you haven't read my introduction thread: this is my first ukelele, but in Argentina ukeleles are very hard to find. Choices are: a very bad, toy like, not THAT cheap ukelele, bringing something from abroad (VERY expensive and not safe at all), or getting a custom (not cheap, not THAT expensive). I wanted to learn how to play, but at the same time I wanted something that I could use even when I knew how to play, and keep thinking it sounded nice. So, my boyfriend said he'll pay for it, as a birthday present, and now it's finally here!
So I'm trying to learn now, my fingers hurt, but it's so much fun!

That is a really neat looking 'ukulele, looks like what Kumalae would be making if they were still in business, very classic Kumalae shape but with a more modern separate fretboard. If she sings as pretty as she looks she will sound beautifully. CONGRATULATIONS!

Again, thanks everyone!
It is a mahogany soprano, although I think it has a couple more frets than a regular soprano...
Any recomendations you can give me to fasten the learning process? Haha, I can't wait to learn how to play!
