Chord(s) help!

Well, I've been learning to improve my song writing; but having trouble writing the chorus for this song I'm writing.

So far, this is what I have.

Verses: F, Bb, Bbm, F

Chorus: Dm , Dmb5th(Ddim?) [2110], Amin7th [0100] .. then I'm stuck!

I want the chorus to land on the C chord at the end to go back into the verses .. But I'm having trouble finding the right chord ..

Anyone know much about theory n' such? I could use a few pointers about song writing. Thanks!

You seem to be centering around the key of F major (or D minor, depending on you look at it). Gm and C (and the "7" version of each) are also chords that come from that key. Maybe those will sound good?

you know it kinda depends on the melody
but yeah i agree with ukulele jj, Gm sounds good

When I played it, ending the chorus with Bb, Bbm, then ending with C is what came to mind.

yeah personaly i would have gone

F, Bb, Bbm, F

Chorus :

Dm Bb F C - (if you want to end with C)

Or

Dm, Dmb 5th, Amin 7th, Dm - (if you want to keep your pretty swoon)

again.... i dont know your melody.
