Slots look great!

Does anyone know where there is a printable pattern for laying out slots for a slotted ukulel head stock? Or where one can get a pattern or template or something?

I don't know of any available. I've made mine by trial and error. One thing to keep in mind though is to make sure the break angle of the neck is correct and the ramps properly made so that the strings do not make contact anywhere. If they do, it's a poor design. Also, when designing a slotted headstock, make sure you have the tuners you intend to use on hand. Proper tuner spacing can be critical to the design.

Thanks a million guys. It all helps and now I have a pattern to start with. Now I will attempt to make a heating pipe or rod. How hard can that be right?
