Research Project

Hello UU,

Im doing a research project on the history of the 'Ukulele and the history of Hawaiian music in general and i was thinking of building my own 'Ukulele as a second little project. I was wondering about the average time it usually takes to complete a 'Ukulele without any fancy inlays or anything, just a basic 'Ukulele.

It takes much, much longer to build the first one than the 10th one. My first one took about a month. But it was a good month.

yes Thomas this helps alot, i needed to know if i even have a large enough window of time to complete one.
i also would like to know if anyonw can point me in the right direction of a good website with a list of the tools i'd need and detailed directions (or if another member can provide me with the info thats good too )

Do many searches on Google, watch all of the videos on Youtube, and buy a kit from Hana Lima Ia. There's plenty of info on all sorts of websites out there.
