How do you string through the bridge? Do you knot the end or something else? Beautiful instrument, by the way.

Yes, the strings go all the way through the top & the bridge plate, are fished out through the sound hole, and are tied to beads. The bead is then pulled up tight on the inside. It's a little more screwing around to change the strings, but not at all difficult, and the bridge will never let loose
