View Full Version : Logging in & out

Good Afternoon everybody .

When I am in my lunch hour at work, I like to read the Uke Bulletin Board, and that is "open time" for us, as during working hours the sites are blocked. At work I log out when I am finished, and as the pc leaves the site, there is a notice that it cleared all the cookies.

Today, I wanted to test, and started reading the luthier site, and sure enough right at the bottom it shows my screen name?

What does logging out & in mean, in the case of reading this BB?

I have had instances when I am on my laptop at home that before posting my comment or reply, the BB software insists on me logging on first which I think is understandable.

Maybe somebody can throw some light on this, because this is not my pc, and if I get transferred or given an other office, this pc more then likely stays behind.

Do you have your computer set up to remember all of your passwords? If so, then as soon as you go a particular site, your computer will sign you back on.
