Had a call today from my local shop to say that my uke had arrived. Couldn't believe it only ordered it monday afternoon and it was here first thing wednesday morning. Even better news was that while talking to the guy in the shop about the service that mgm offers and that it's a shame that there is nothing like it in the uk, he told me that he was a luthier (and proffesional musician uke included) and would be happy to offer the same.
Any way my kala travel tenor arrived and it has certainly lived up to everything people have said about it, beautifully made, the tone, volume and feel are superb and I'm truly impressed. The gig bag is sweet aswell, after I have had a play for a few days I'll add a proper review on the review forum.
If any uk uker need details of the shop and/ or the luthier just show some interest and I'll post up in the UKelele forum tehy have always been very helpful and he seems a genuine guy, being a musician can only help aswell.
