The string isn't dumb, the question is. I should know this but I don't. Would the G string on a baritone ukulele with DGBE tuning be the equivalent of a low G or a high G on a baritone ukulele with GCEA tuning? Thanks!

I think the correct answer is yes.
There are baritone sets with low and high G's.
Low G is more common.

Um, he was asking about a DGBE set. It is only the GCEA sets that come with a choice of high or low G.

oops, I did not read it correctly the first time.
I guess you could use Nashville tuning and have a high "D" & "G"

Come to think of it, Nashville should have more ukulele music.

The low G on my GCEA tuned Super Concert is the same as the G on my DGBE tuned Baritone.
