Hey all,

well ive taken into building recently. I have a nice old olive oil tin that I want to turn into a uke but im having a bit of a problem. I bought a mahogany neck, ebony bridge, and mahogany bridge, bone nut and saddle, to put on the tin. but im having some trouble. I dont have a clue of what im doing. haha the neck didnt come with instructions, but it did come with what looks like to be the part of the neck that goes on the inside of the tin, sandwhiching the top of the tin to the neck and the piece of wood. I bought the neck from mainlandukes.com.

in other words, can someone give me a run down on how to properly place this neck onto the tin?

also i need to put finish on the neck and finger board, so i will need advice on proper finish to use for that and also need help placing the fingerboard on the neck. :/
