Brook Adams is a ukulele madman with a strong voice and guitar and ukulele chops too. He describes his collection of novelty songs, tv themes, modern pop and swing-era classics as a musical cartoon of the 20th century. Of course, he is well known for playing the Beatles' ABBEY ROAD album start to finish on ukulele. Brook will be presenting his Soul Music workshop from 2-3:30pm and following it up with a short concert from 4-5pm. The workshop is targeted for beginners and intermediate players. So come join us for some Smoky Robinson, Marvin Gaye, Temptations, Ben E. King and more. Brook will be showing you some classic licks and intros complete with handouts.

I'm so jealous of you people who live in the right places for these kind of events! DaSilva is more of a myth than a reality for me! (Spirito Santos reproduction... sigh!) Have fun!
