Hey i want to learn how to finger pick songs....like the ones with a mix of tabs and chords...what is an easy song to start out with and can u send me a link =3

I think the basic idea of all of them is this. You first pick out the melody or the chords of the song. Then You play the chords at major chord changes, or measures and try to figure out how to work the melody in between. The chords usually contain most of the melody notes where they are played. I have been watching lots of these on YT and have worked out a few on my own using this simple formula. It gets easier the more you do it, but its definitely work. I'd suggest starting with a simple song that you have the chords for and know the melody of.

WS64 is a real master of this technique, but he doesn't go so fast that you can't follow what he is doing. It amazes me how fast he turns out new chord solo covers. I think he was the first to inspire me to try it myself.
