I came really close to getting the Mele. Then I added in the price of a case and all and got a pikake KoAloha concert instead of the tenor. The price difference wasn't so much and the KoAloha is the best instrument I own.

I would wait....

or go a bit cheaper and get a Mainland.

Out of the first 2, I like both for different reasons, but I think I lean towards the Mele.

Agree...Even if it is a solid koa lanikai made by kanilea. (but it would be close). David has a great point too. I prefer the KoAlohas but Meles are next.

I have noticed that each time you have asked for advice the Mele is the only constant. Go with the constant choice option.
