There is an Amanda Palmer cover of the Joy Division track 'Love Will Tear Us Apart' on this website (Track #12)

She brought 'Creep' to the uke and this isn't a bad stab either.

Can anyone tab for standard tuning?

I haven't heard the Amanda Palmer cover, but I pretty much play the same thing as Hankthetank. You can play the little melody part on the E string during the D chord.

You could also play the song in Am, which might make it a little easier for some. The chord progression would be Am, G, Em, D. This allows you to play the melody part during the G chord.

i have a question about releasing covers of music

would these people have to pay rights to release this cover? does anyone know copyright law about releasing covers commercially?
