Ukulele plans

Hi, I'm new to this forum, so forgive me if I'm repeating a question asked before somewhere.
Does anyone know of a source of ukulele plans in the UK? I'm OK for wood suppliers etc, but the only plans I've found so far on the net are in the US...

Don't know of a source for plans in the UK Howard, but there's a free plan for a Martin style soprano on French luthier Christophe Grellier's website here:

You can buy plans from another French luthier, Benoit de Bretagne, and you can see what they're like here. You get the version with dimensions when you pay for the plan:

I'm pretty positive Pete has plans or at least is working on some. Well okay I know he was doing Harpuke plans.

Thanks, Dave - I wasn't looking particularly for free plans, but those sites have given me a start - I come from making acoustic guitars, so the uke is miniaturisation for me!!
I have a spare piece of swiss pine front material, 220mm x 560mm, so I can probably fit a tenor uke to that (?), I'll keep looking, anyway.

I like Benoit's guitar plans - body shape for the 00 very nice. However, the ukulele ones are suspect.

Yes, I will be continuing my journey with CAD making more plans available over the next month. AM awaiting delivery of my first set of printed plans for the Symphony Harp Ukulele

What do you find to be suspect about B de B's ukulele plans Pete? I don't know enough to judge. The only thing I'm not keen on is some of the body shapes, although I think the soprano looks OK.
