Yedi Yedi - instrumental (progressive folk trio) - TOTALLY RE-RECORDED! me on uke =)

Hi all! I would LOVE some feedback on this piece me and a two mates of my have been writing. It is still a work in progress!

Critique everything...from my playing, soloing to the actual composition itself.

This piece is primarily played in a Turkish 7/8 rhythm so Yedi Yedi (meaning 7 he ate) seemed a cool pun.

MEGA THANKS ALL!

p.s

Just an FYI, it's not necessary to post the same thread in two different areas. I'm deleting the one in the UU Video Discussion. Thanks!!

Great stuff - is that a zither he's playing?

Nope, its a Kanun. It is a Middle-Eastern harp. 79 strings, and the left side of the instrument has switches that allows for each note to be separated into 12 micro-tonal intervals. Very intimidating next to a Ukulele, but great fun.

Thanks for the comment, Coyote!
