"This ukulele will hold me for awhile. I'm not going to want anything after this one."

Go on...

Well.. I got all I want really. I have a "throw down" Uke. I have a Solid Mahogany Uke, and I have a Banjo Uke. What else would I need?

I am thinking about getting a concert, or maybe a tenor size tho..

I'm not going to bid on the eBay uke I am watching.

"it will help me play better...or at the very least practice more"

My housemates never get tired of hearing me play the same 4 chords over and over again.

Having eight or nine ukuleles is only temporary. Once I decide which ONE I really like I will sell the rest.

"This instrument is a keeper. I don't see myself ever selling it."

I swear, that was the last one. Now let me get on to ebay

My newest one: I've just spent more than $1500 on the guitar of my dreams -- I won't buy any more ukuleles for a couple of years.

"I'm not the worst singer that ever lived, and I am going to upload these videos to youtube."

Then I listen to the whole thing during the editing process and become so discouraged that I don't touch the ukulele for three days. :(

Man this uke will have me playing like Aldrine, and shredding like Jake....yep, this is THE ONE! (not like the last ten!)

I'm playing so quietly that I'm sure that my wife can not hear me.

I also tell myself many lies that are not ukulele related.
