don't know if I should post here on in the luthier section. I have also searched this and found the great thread on buzzing but it didn't really answer my question (or I missed it)
I have a an OU3 solid spruce top concert size that is buzzing from the C string at the bridge. The strings are new Aquila and all even at the 3 places I checked on the fret board. On the bridge there is a chamfered notch and I believe this is where the buzz is coming from. It almost sounds like a slapping noise. I have been careful not to strum too hard... I think that's all...
Any suggestions? I'm tempted to take a needle file and make the chamfer a bit steeper but not until I talk to someone with way more experience with stringed instruments. Again, is this is in the wrong area I'm sorry, and if this has been covered I'm sorry.
Thanks,
Ben
