Question on the "G" chord

Hey all

i hope its ok i post this site here its

my question on this site pertains to the "G" chord, when i click on the standerd G i could of sworn i seen aldrine say that perticular chord was an "F" chord. in one of his uke minutes.

so wich is it a G or an F?

i know someone here has all the chords shown, im still new here so i havent fully dug threw all the forums yet. and again im commenting on another site i hope thats ok. im just a bit wee confused lol. i hope i placed my question in the right forum lol. any responses would be much apreceated thak you :)
 
the tuning of GCEA

G Chord - 0232
(1st digit = g string, 2nd digit c string, 3rd digit e string and 4th digit a string)

0 = open
2 = hold g string 2nd fret
3 = hold e string 3rd fret
2 = hold a string 2nd fret
