...mango is mango IMO.
I have the same uke and I like it for its sweetness, but it's a more modest tonal range than cedar or spruce and not as resonant as either. Beautiful looking, though.

I changed to a Tusq saddle and Aquila strings and the combination made the mango sound better, IMHO. More sustain, better harmonics.
 
I sold one of these recently and I almost regret it. I was in a bind at the time though. Just want to say your price may be a pit high, sold mine for 400 even to dentuke in peron.

Really lovely uke though, sounds crisp.
 
Just to give Provines a thumb up as a seller, just got my resonator! FAST and well packaged. Thanks a ton and just as described. Lets work a trade for this one(Pono) now!!!
 
I just sold it on Ebay. However..... I thought I had it sold before and the buyer bailed. So... don't close this listing yet. No cash in hand.
