Does anyone own her heard any reviews about the "Custom" Deluxe Slotted/Cutaway high-gloss Koa Tenor which you can see in this link
http://www.meleukulele.com/shopexd.asp?id=335&bc=no

I was wondering:
1. if it is worth the price?
2. about its quality
3. anything else you can say about this ukulele or the brand

I am debating whether to get this one for quality or the kamoa koa tenor which seems less quality but a lot cheaper which can be seen seen in this link

ADVICE PLEASE!!!

Kamoa Koa Tenor is great. Got his first one. Get it with a low g. I believe that the Kamoa would be a better buy :)

I'm the Mele voice around here (Not affiliated with them in anyway btw) but if you got 1,000 to drop on a uke I'd get a Koaloha or kamaka or even a kanilea. I had a double puka solid koa Mele tenor that had the same price tag and I loved that uke but i got it as a repaired uke for more than half that cost. Meles are by far the best imports IMO and I have played all except the kiwayas, but for that price get the "K" brands. If you are looking at the Kamoa just get one of the regular Meles for around that same price.

I also would buy the Kamoa over the other because of the good rep they've been given by the UU crew and I like simple looks, I don't need fancy inlays or bindings. But that is just me

thanks for the response. I was just wondering, how you were able to find a repaired mele ukulele?
