I've been playing this Kiwaya soprano KS-5 for a little over a year, but I'm just not a soprano guy. So here it is for your consideration:
The KS-5 has a very thin laminate koa body of excellent build quality. This uke has gold plated friction tuners and a Rosewood fretboard. Construction is superb and the sound is very punchy and loud for its size. Very good intonation at all frets and an easy player. It is so very light to hold. Currently with Aquila strings. This would be a terrific instrument for beginner or intermediate player. Includes good sturdy case.
Nits: a tiny (pinhead) spot on surface just below the bridge and a faint surface blemish on the top width of the headstock (made by a Herco humidifier while uke was in its case). You would not notice either mark on casual looking. These are the only things that keep me from saying absolutely outstanding condition.
New: $335 list. Your Price: $200 plus shipping
