Greetings all,

Please come to the first get-together of the currently named 'Tunbridge Wells Ukulele Night Thing'.

We're planning on meeting up in the High Brooms Tavern, just round the corner from High Brooms Station on the Third Monday of the month. Starting on May 17th 2010.

Nothing too serious - just a strum & a sing & a beer or two. All are welcome, of all abilities.

Find us on Facebook here: http://www.facebook.com/#!/group.php?gid=104364067833 and/or myspace here: http://www.myspace.com/twellsuke.

Or get in touch with me on here.

Cheers,

Dave

Well - how about that...

No replies on here, but: about two dozen people turned up to play for our inaugural night. As witnessed here: http://www.greenninja.co.uk/p31596085

So we're doing it again on Monday May 31st.

All are welcome.

Look Forward to seeing you,

Dave

Hi, are you still going? I'm over in Herne Bay but would drive over for a Uke night!

Having just acquired a Uke I was told of This Little Place in Tondridge Wells (http://www.itv.com/meridian-west/ukulele-saves-pub35212/) that featured on Meridien Tonight

I love the name "Tunbridge Wells Ukulele Night Thing", but I think you SHOULD call it "Tunbridge Wells Ukulele Night Thingy". To make it more... "Hugh Laurie as Bertie Wooster"-ish.
