When I plug in my Applause Uke, the G & A string are not as loud as the C & E strings. Does anyone else that has this uke have this problem? Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Is it an under saddle piezo pickup? If so, remove bridge saddle and ensure the piezo strip is seated square, flat and secure. Had this with another piezo instrument once.

If it ain't piiezo, sorry, can't help ya!

The piezo in the Applause soprano isn't like others - it's actually the one piece with bridge if I remember correctly. Still, it needs to be seated firmly across the width.
The one I had consisted of four legs - maybe the C and E need a little sanding to let the G & A have better contact. If the bottom of the bridge slot is level, then the 4 legs need to be level.

Thanks everyone for your good feedback! I'll look in to these suggestions!

ricdoug, are those amps Crate Profiler5's? Do you recommend them over the VOX or Roland battery powered amps for uke?

Thanks!
