Are these for slotted head stock?

If anyone has the time could you please have a look. Are the tunners shown in this link for a slotted head stock? or do they go on underneath the head stock and poke up through? I apologize for asking what probably seems like a stupid question but I really don't know. I have never seen any up close before. My guess is No.

Looks like it could work either way if you get the dimensions right, but since they show a bushing I'd guess that they're for an unslotted headstock. Most slotted tuners protrude into the center section of the headstock for support. It doesn't look like these would do that.

You can tell by the posts they are not for slotted head stocks.

I suppose they could be used for something like a Fluke design with a single opening for both sides, but Chuck is right. They would be better suited for an unslotted head.

Yep...they're peghead tuners. The hole for the string needs to be in the middle of the post for slot head
I've seen posts on this forum that have similar looking tuners for slot heads

Thank you muchly gentlemen. The reason I wondered is because the tuners were recommended on my thread about plans for a slotted head stock, so I became confused, which happens alot more now than it used to or than it should. I think?
