Has anybody tried the Roland Mobile Cube? It looks like a real versatile amp.

It's a good amp...small and LOUD.
The amp of choice for ukulele playing buskers...

Check out my reviews on battery powered amps. Our entire stage is battery powered, including the P.A. system:

Check out the Vox DA5, which has more power, a larger speaker and a microphone input with a seperate volume control:

It looks like the stereo mobile cube has the same wattage as the DA5 (5W) only 2 speakers X 2.5W. Is the DA5 still louder? The mobile cube has a seperate microphone input but looks like no effects on the mic. I like the fact that it has a mic stand thread on the bottom to use as a monitor. It also has stereo inputs to plug in a a drum machine or other stereo mp3 player of device which is cool.

Thanks!

The DA5 is louder at a lower price. Like the Mobile Cube, there are no effects on the microphone channel. The DA5 has an auxillery input for CD players and MP3 players, too. If budget is not a big issue look at:

Tuscadero in this forum uses a Mobile Cube and she enjoys it. The Roland Cube Street and Roland AC-33 both have seperate effects on the microphone channel. They are both very loud and clean. Ric

I live in San Diego's North County, Stan. I've been told by many Hawaiians that we have more ukulele players here than Hawaii! Ric
