How tight should strings be?

I just bought a new Lanikai Tenor Ukulele and changed out GHS strings for new Aquila ones. My question is how tight should they be when tuning them. I do have an electronic chromatic tuner but still figuring it all out.

Uhh... tight enough to come up to pitch? As long as you bought the Aquilas for Tenor, you should be fine. I've noticed that Aquilas tend to have a bit more tension than other (thinner) strings.
