Well, as arashi_nero has stated, Eleukes never came with friction tuners.
They have always had geared tuners (that work very well infact). Perhaps you have your words a bit mixed around.
"Eleukes" refer specifically to the brand of electric ukuleles made by a company called Eleuke. Their website is:
http://www.eleukeusa.com
Be assured all Eleukes have geared tuners.
If you're thinking of RISA Uke-solids (or "Uke-sticks"), they have started fitting geared tuners on their Concert models, and they will eventually put geared on all sizes. However, this information has not been officially announced on the website yet. So you have to indicate clearly in your purchase (or email them) that you specifically want Geared tuners on your concert Uke-stick;

If you live outside Europe, make sure you make an account and log in to save yourself from 19% European VAT tax which is already included in the costs.
I received my Concert RISA Uke-solid last week and have ABSOLUTELY been loving it. The instrument was already one of the most superb and practical nylon-string electric uke, and the geared tuners put the cherry on top for me at how easy it is to tune.
On the left is the new Concert Uke-stick with geared tuners.
Alternatively, are you thinking of Fluke and Flea ukes?
They traditionally came in friction tuners. But they have had a new Peghead 4:1 tuner option for quite a while.
You can purchase one by going to their online store:

Choose either Flea or Fluke, and in the Tuners options, add the Peghead tuners for an additional price ($69 I think?). I have a Flea with pegheads, and they too work very well.
They stay in tune, and don't drive me nuts like Friction tuners did
