I desperately need a good setup on this Makai Tenor. Can anyone recommend a UU brother other than MGM that I could send this to for a setup?

Are there any local clubs in your area? If so they might have someone to recommend. Good luck! I'm lucky there is a guy about a 5 minute drive from my house.

Any decent guitar tech can set up a uke. Local shop is the best way to go.

You are not that far from Bucks County Pennsylvania. There is a great folk music stringed instrument shop there with a good tech. BUCKS COUNTY FOLK MUSIC. 40 SAND ROAD. NEW BRITAIN, PA 18901

A buddy of mine picked up a 1928 Gibson "F" stock mandolin from that shop. They are first-rate.
