So I went to put a strap button on my Makai. I have done this with no problem on my other ukes, but for some reason I could not get any screw to take a solid bite I trusted in the thin lam. wood. So now I have a hole.... hmmm how to cover it.
My input jack on my other ukes keeps getting in my way at one time or another. So I decided to put it in the dumbest possible spot and see what happened lol. To my surprise I love it there and it stays out of my way. Only catch... have to use a right angle plug. Piezo sounds great and the hole is gone.
