I seem to remember reading last year that there was a UWC songbook. Someone (Alan, maybe?) put it together ahead of time for folks to print out and practice.

Any songbook this year? If so, could someone post a link to it?

I did one last year, but there were many flaws in it. The chords moved from their original positions when I transferred the Word file to a .pdf.

Didn't Sakulady (?) do one for another group? Perhaps she could provide it...?

It'd be cool if everyone ran off 10 or so copies of a song or two to distribute for jammin' purposes.

Sally, Do you have it as a Word doc? I can convert to pdf if you want.

Not to hijack the thread, but you can make pdf's without adobe acrobat. Download Cute pdf Writer: http://www.cutepdf.com/Products/CutePDF/writer.asp It's freeware, they have a pro version, but you don't need it. Follow the instructions to install (say no to the toolbar, say yes when it asks to download the PS2PDF converter). After that you just hit "print" in whichever program you are in, choose Cutepdf Writer instead of your printer, give the file a name and hit save.

I'm on a Mac. I can scan the sheets but I don't know what to do after that.

Just open it in Acrobat, then EXPORT as pdf from there.

Or open in WORD and EXPORT as pdf from there. Me thinks you is making it harder than it needs to be.

openoffice was exporting to pdf years before Word was. That option should be available to you in the File menu. Or you can email 'em to me and I'll do it for you.

I've made 8 copies of Tuscadero's songbook just for this occasion! They're already packed in my UWC box. (It's getting full)

She's got a better grasp on this computer stuff than I do.

I have Open Office and I will export it to PDF as soon as I'm done making and eating these pancakes. :P

But you need to email it to me, lol. Message me for my email address.

If you're using Word, there are some excellent 3rd party freeware for PDF conversion. I use Bullzip PDF Printer (http://www.bullzip.com/products/pdf/info.php), simple to use and integrates with Word.
