I am super excited to report that I just received my brand new Cedar and Walnut tenor from Tom Guy at BluegrassUkes.
It is amazing so far: beautiful woods, amazing action and a killer sound.
I've got a busy week ahead, but will try and post some photos and maybe a short, initial review. My intention is to follow-up with a more comprehensive, full review once I've played it for a few weeks.

Congrats on the new uke! I have one of his cigar boxes and it's a great instrument; I've wondered what one of his 'regular' ukes would be like. I look forward to the review.

I also have one of his cigar box ukes that I just installed a MiSi in. Just awesome. I love the feel of the neck. It looks like the one on your new tenor is the same. Congrats.

It's loud. The sound is pretty twangy with hints of banjo when you pluck hard.

I'll try to do a comparison video/recording between it and my Kala Acacia Tenor when I do my full review.

I agree with you about the neck. I already much prefer it to any of the ukes i've tried.

Btw, do you go to the Corktown Uke Jam? I've never been because i have a rehearsal that night. But the rehearsal is ending soon, so hopefully i'll be able to bring it and show it off!
