Let's get this thread started guys!!!
Here's my first entry.....a VERY special guitar out of my "Beatles" collection...they made 1,965 total John Lennon Epiphone Casinos....it was made in the original Sunburst, referred to as the "1965" model, and the way it looked after John stripped the paint off, known as the "Revolution" model, as it looked in the famous "Apple Rooftop Concert".....
Here's my "Revolution" Casino:

Sorry for cutting my wife's head off in the pic guys, but I think I got the most important thing pictured. (the guitar) (right?)

Even the angel in the corner is having a difficult time finding the guitar....

Thought you might like to see the "1965" casino...the way it looked before John stripped it down:

Here's mine...(well, one of them, I have 2)

Guys, my wife told me she was mad at me for posting that pic, as she thought I might appear to be trying to show HER off instead of the guitar...I promised I'd put up a different pic of the "Revolution" casino, and I would never break my word to my lovely wife, so here it is:

Well...it IS a different pic, right??

Now, lets see some of YOUR guitars!
Get it going fellas!

Hey, girls rock out too :p

I don't have as awesome a collection, but I still love my guitars! I've gone through a lot of them, but I've always sold an old one to buy a new one so this is pretty much what I have now:

1. My Dano! This I bought really cheap a couple of years ago from craigslist, because I'd always wanted a Dan electro guitar....for the price they play really well and have this great clean sound. It just happened to be shiny!

2. Les Paul DC. I've had this guitar for a long time and kind of abused it. If it weren't so abused I'd try and sell it so I could buy a Telecaster. But it has history, so even if it were in perfect condition I'd feel bad to sell it...

3. Finally....my absolute favorite guitar that I played and tried a million acoustics before I bought, my Yamaha CPX South. I know it's just a Yamaha, but it sounds soo beautiful and the Yamaha name/made in Japan instead of USA put it in my price range. and it has dolphin inlays and is the color of the ocean (kinda)! it's name is oceao...

I have a Dean somewhere in the basement that I never play too. I should fix it up and sell it, but I've never had the time. I'm not big on collecting, I like the idea of having on electric and one acoustic that I just love to play.

I never understood the Yamaha bashing. I had an old Pacifica that my friends kept trying to steal.

Nice guitars BTW.

I agree 100%!!
While I really focus on collecting USA made guitars, the reality is that some of the finest guitars on earth come from Japan! And of those guitars, Yamaha is NOT "just a Yamaha"! They make BEAUTIFUL instruments, as shown here!

By the way, I had a Pacifica myself years ago that I sold to a buddy...it was a white Strat type that he still has...it has yellowed to a nice creamy looking vintage color, and everytime he plays it I regret selling it!
Here's the worst part...I sold it to him...this was 20 years ago...for 100 bucks!
He paid me $20 down, and then "forgot" our payment arrangements when he ran into some hard times...
He was, (and still is), my friend, so I "forgot" them too....but I still see my old Pacifica from time to time, and I still regret selling it!
Don't knock your Yamaha's...they are great guitars!

I had to comment on these two REALLY hot guitars!
My youngest son collects Danelectros, (I'll get some of them pictured...he has about six of them now....all reissues, no vintage), and I LOVE them!
They play and sound like nothing else on earth...they have a VERY distinct personality! And the vintage vibe from the reissues is WAY cool, especially the sparkle ones like yours!
GROOVY!!!

And your Gibson DC is awesome too! I love the flame top on it...it rivals any PRS I have ever had! And I'll bet it SOUNDS and PLAYS better!

Oooo I would love to see that collection! It never ceases to amaze me how well my Danelectro plays, they totally have a unique sound.

And thanks for the compliments :) I travel with the Yamaha a lot, so people are always asking me questions about what kind of guitar it is when they see the case. When I say Yamaha, I usually get some line like "oh, not a martin?" or "x-vintage-whatever-name-guitar." Especially from the luggage handlers, when I've had to gate check! Haha, I guess that's all they know of guitars though. So yeah, your comments mean a lot to me and oceao :D

I'll definitely get some pics of my youngest guitar player's collection done tomorrow, (He's 10 years old, by the way, and playing really well......he's been taking lessons about a year but has been taking piano lessons for 2 years, so his ability to read and write music really helped learn guitar. I don't know how to read music, sadly, so he is teaching ME how to read the tabs to play some stuff on the uke!)
I should also take some pics of my older son's collection....he's 19, plays EXTREMELY well, (WAY,WAY better than I ever did or will), mainly due to 2 lessons a week for the past 5 years, (I never had a lesson in my life), and he has some guitars you guys would probably like...he's got a nice collection of Gibson electrics, which is what he prefers, and a couple BEAUTIFUL classical guitars, including a STUNNING Cordoba with tone to die for, so great guitars can be not only American like most of mine and his Gibsons, they can also be from anywhere from Spain, (his Cordoba), to Japan, like some of my absolute favorite guitars, my Gretsch reissue "Beatle" guitars, or my Gretsch White Falcon, pictured below:

:eek::eek::eek::eek:
OH MY GOD! A Gretsch White Falcon!

To quote Bread:

"I would give everything I own, just to have you..."

Drool.

Since you guys seem to really like the Falcon, I thought you might want to see a few more angles:

And that's how most of my guitars look! New, Unplayed, just like the day they arrived! (A little sad, according to my son!)
